Metro Transit is turning to one of the most time-tested methods of training workers to fill out its ranks with new bus drivers and mechanics – apprenticeships. Today, the regional transit agency announced it will be participating in the Minnesota Apprenticeship initiative, which will bring on as many as 200 new employees in the coming years.
Position Description: We are looking to hire someone for one year who is self-motivated, organized, creative, flexible, detailed, team-oriented and exhibits a high degree of professionalism. Furthermore, we seek an individual committed to and passionate about North Minneapolis. An individual who demonstrates an understanding of the Northside’s people, assets and a desire to connect with residents new ways.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Legal Assistant position is part-time and will provide administrative and litigation management support for attorneys handling litigation. In particular, this person will work with attorneys in the Minnesota Disability Law Center who handle disability discrimination cases.
